God is a God who seeks the human heart. He designed us with emotions. Emotions are good. Emotions are the tools God gave us to connect our Heads to our Hearts. If we cannot understand and navigate emotions then we really cannot get to the heart of a person. Growing in emotional intelligence is critical in getting to the heart, which Jesus is about.
